Are there any wagons left after these two die? I guess there are a few luxury options. Such a shame.

I nteresting VW is killing their “outbackified” wagon just as Ford is coming out with theirs. Seems like the ‘buru is the only organization that can sell wagons in any numbers at this point.

Glad I got my mk6 jsw when I did. Not as nice as the late mk7s but any modernish manual wagon is worth holding on to.

It’s like these companies don’t even want me to buy their cars from the second owner ten years from now.

Questionable reliability, unknown in the midst of other brands, too small inside, and compact crossover pricing? Thank you, next.

Wow, I see so many in my area. I thought they were decently successful, but I guess not.

I’m more sad that I can’t BMW G20 wagon, MBZ AMG CLA 45 Shooting Brake, and the AMG A45S in the states than I am about this leaving.
Also, screw the guy who decided to stop making Ford Focus RS . At least the GTI is still here.

Mean while over here VAG have released another cross over estate.
The sister to the VW Alltrack is the Skoda Octavia Scout.
But now they are making one based on the Superb (VW Passats sister). the Skoda Superb Scout.

Things that I consider wagons still sold in the US:
V60
V90
TourX
Outback (I think Subaru calls this an SUV, but come on)
Impreza (I understand if people want to call it a hatch, but it’s a wagon to me)
Clubman
E-Series
A4
Maybe I missed some? But I think this is a good list based on what I’m seeing for sale (note to dealers: the Bolt is not a wagon, please don’t list it as one)
Also in addition to the VWs, the 3-series and Flex are still available for 2019, but both going away (in the US) soonish. I assume the Opel sale means the same for the TourX, but I don’t think there have been any announcements or credible rumors about specifics so I think we can leave it on the top list.

My Mom had a 2017 Outback, it feels very much like an SUV when you drive it. The new Outbacks are massive.

Interesting. That Superb Scout appeals to me a lot. Too bad they don’t sell in the USofA.

It won’t be available in the U.K. either as they aren’t making it RHD, and even the RHD Octavia Scout apparently is being de-listed from the U.K. due to insufficient sales in the U.K. and Ireland (I don’t think it’s sold in Malta and don’t think Skoda sell in Cyprus)(briefly stopped in Australia in 2017 but as of 2018 it was still available in 2018).
